Since I'm making some substantial progress on some of my projects, I thought I'd enumerate what I'm working on for the benefit of any interested parties.

I have two film projects that I'm directing. One is an animated short titled A Shadow Over the Stars. It's about a robot, piloting a sleeper ship across space, who finds his vessel attacked by a mysterious force that threatens the inhabitants within, not to mention the naive android's program stability. I'm currently in the design and animatic stage of the project, trying to finalize the robot's look and the blocking of the shots. I'll be posting some images as the designs and animatic emerges.

The other film I'm directing is a live-action short, The Man Who Could Never Eat Enough, in which a gourmet is wooed by a fine all-you-can-eat restaurant of unusual exclusivity. I can't say much more for now, but the official website will be up in a couple of months.

Other miscellaneous projects abound. A feature-length script I hope to sell, a short scenario for a friend's animation project, scripts for a miniseries I'd like to produce and then distribute on iTunes to gain support for an animated feature (which I've already written), and so forth. Expect a number of posts about writing and creativity in the future!
